The quality of quartz glass has a great influence on lighting. High quality quartz glass has high purity, no bubble inside, smooth surface. Because the temperature is usually on the wall above 600℃, if not enough material purity, can have a glass surface gasification, lead to many small pits, affect the radiation of ultraviolet from wall. The formation of the quartz eye can directly see the bubble inside the wall, the effect of ultraviolet ray on the wall, the high-temperature bubble forms the high-pressure air mass to break the wall. The UV LED electrode material is usually a barium zirconium or other cathode emitting material on the surface of tungsten filament. Tungsten and cathode materials, anti-aging, temperature directly affect the electrode life.
This factor is the most important factor that restricts the quality of household UV LED lamps. The main processes affecting the service life of the lamp are : cleaning the inner wall of the lamp, dust absorption, purity and injection amount of mercury, argon charging and discharging electrode lead welding, cathode material sintering, etc.. The whole process should be carried out in an advanced clean place. The sintering and welding of cathode materials should be done under vacuum conditions. At present, domestic manufacturers of UV LED lamps do not have these conditions, which greatly affect the lamp’s life. Improper use will greatly reduce the lamp’s life. Read the instructions carefully or consult with the supplier before using.
