Plant light time is the time when plants receive natural light or artificial LED grow lights. Light intensity and light quality will have their own changing rules, and the same is true for light time:

(1) The light time in summer is longer than that in winter (2) The day and night are equal all year round near the equator (3) The days are longer in summer and the nights are shorter (4) The days are shorter in winter and the nights are longer

Long-day plants: refers to plants that require a long light time. Only when a long light time is regularly reached in the photoperiod, the plants will bloom and bear fruit. Otherwise, they will only grow normally and will not form flower buds. The lack of time has a great impact on it, and it is also the plants that most need to use LED grow lights to align and fill light.
Common long-day plants are: impatiens, wheat, spinach, radish, etc.

Short-day plants: refer to plants that bloom when the light time is less than a certain value according to the photoperiod. In contrast to long-day plants, the light time is too long, and vegetative growth is carried out in Google and vegetative growth. Except for special purposes, such plants generally do not. Fill in the light with LED grow lights!
Common short-day plants are: soybean, morning glory, chrysanthemum, tobacco and so on.

Intermediate sunshine plants: These plants do not have very strict requirements on light time. They can bloom as long as they meet other external conditions. Different sunshine lengths have little effect on their flowering, but the light time will affect the growth rate. Using LED Plant lights can appropriately shorten their growth cycle.
Common intermediate plants are: cucumbers, dandelions, green beans, tomatoes and so on.

It is very important to understand the light time (i.e. the length of sunshine) required by various plants. Correctly grasp the photoperiod phenomenon of plants, make targeted adjustments to the growth of plants, and make full use of LED plant lights to supplement light to increase crop yield and quality.
